Jennifer Myers’ book, Trafficking the Good Life

Read what others are saying about Myers’ book:

R.I.S.E. to Empower is a unique, 3-month empowerment program for girls and young women. Through workbooks, readings, weekly discussion circles led by trained facilitators, and group mentors, the program provides girls and young women the opportunity to participate in a transformational self-exploration experience. Our program uses critical thinking and experiential learning to help participants take a deeper look at their lives, the challenges they are faced with daily as teen girls, and their relationship to choice. Whether their goals are to pursue higher education, build healthy relationships, or live life at their highest and best potential, our desire is to help girls make the choices that will allow them to create bright futures for themselves and ultimately, to fulfill their dreams! Our program will be offered in continuation schools, the juvenile system, foster schools, and public and private schools. Our motto is “every girl is at risk,” including girls who are raised in middle or upper-class families and believe they are protected by their upbringing.

Help us to empower all girls and young women to make positive choices. They are our future leaders!

“Jennifer Myers has written a powerful story of transformation and resilience. Riveting and compelling, this is a must-read.”
~ Jodie Lawston, Ph.D., Women’s Studies Program, CA State University, San Marcos, CA
“I want all my clients to read this book. Beneath the drug story is a universal theme all women can relate to; the desperate search for self, and the ultimate journey to finding the true feminine voice that longs to emerge in what often feels like a world of addictions. I hope parents will read this book before their children reach grade school. Trafficking the Good Life is insightful, educational, and, ultimately, a journey to the heart.”
~ Moe Ross, addictions specialist; Director, Northwest Community Counseling Services and Hollyhock Retreat Center
“Myer’s narrative is a painfully raw and stunningly honest exploration of a woman finding her way through a very masculine world filled with frightening consequences. It is a powerful story of redemption—of how one woman finds her voice by facing the choices she has made and learning a truth that is hers and hers alone.”
~Dr. Linda Savage, author of Reclaiming Goddess Sexuality: The Power of the Feminine Way

Amy Wise’s book, Believe in Yourself ~ Inspire Others ~ Spread Joy

Here are just a few of the reactions to Wise’s book:
“Amy Wise gives the sort of sage life advice that puts the brakes on your thought stream, helps you stop, rethink and steer yourself back in the right direction. Good soul nourishment here.”
~ Melanie Eversley, reporter, USA Today
“Author Amy Wise lights up the page and her readers’ hearts with her wisdom and empathy. She is a true philosopher of humankind. An inspirational reading experience.”
~ Elynne Chaplik-Aleskow, Pushcart Prize-nominated short memoir author
“Amy Wise’s book of quotes will take you on a journey to your best self, enabling you to change your heart and the hearts of those around you. Timely, thought-provoking, and reflective…this is the way to begin your day.”
~ Elizabeth Geitz, author of I Am That Child: Changing Hearts and Changing the World
